Psalm 69:22

The missionaries will say that Psalm 69:22 "proves" that the Messiah will be given vinegar and gall. They will then show that Jesus was given vinegar and gall in Matt 27:34 and John 19:28-30 and conclude that Jesus is therefore the Messiah.
The Reply is that the person saying this also says in verse 30-34 (JPS): " But I am lowly and in pain; Your help, O G-d, keeps me safe. I will extol G-d's name with song, and exalt Him with praise. That will please the L-rd more than oxen, than bulls with horns and hooves. The lowly will see and rejoice; you who are mindful of G-d, take heart! For the L-rd listens to the needy, and does not spurn His captives."
This appears to me to be written by someone in the Babylonian captivity. Additionally, the NT never portrays Jesus as singing...
